Will Services in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, Lincoln

The simpler and quicker way to draft your Will

Over half of all Britons fail to make a Will, which means the distribution of their assets may not be as they would have wished.

Making a Will ensures your money goes to the people you want to benefit, and that the person who shares out your assets (the Executor) is someone you trust. Without a Will, your Estate will be divided according to intestacy rules – there is no guarantee your spouse will receive everything, and unmarried couples will have very few rights.

Your Will also enables you to appoint a guardian for your children and trustees to look after any funds which may need to be held on behalf of children until they reach the required age to inherit in their own right.

As we appreciate it may not always be easy or convenient to visit our offices in person for the purpose of making a Will, we decided to offer an alternative way for clients to write a legally binding Will.

Our Wills on Line site enables you to produce a bespoke Will using software created by us, as practising solicitors, but without the need to visit our offices in person.

It is suitable for anyone whose affairs are relatively straightforward, and who wishes to produce their own legally binding Will at a competitive price. The site should only be used by adults with testamentary capacity who are resident in the UK, and whose assets are based solely in England and Wales.

It is not appropriate if you need advice of a specific nature regarding your affairs or for the purposes of tax planning. Additionally, if your affairs are out of the ordinary or your estate is likely to exceed the current tax threshold for Inheritance Tax purposes, then we recommend that you contact us to discuss your requirements in more detail.
