David joined Burton & Dyson’s private client department in April 2009. He graduated from the University of Hull with an honours degree in Law. After completing the Legal Practice Course at Leeds Metropolitan University, David was admitted as a solicitor in September 2004.

David specialises in private client work, including Wills and Probate. He is studying for the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners' Diploma with the aim of becoming a registered trust and estate practitioner. David also has experience of dealing with property and family work.

David enjoys playing all sports, especially football and golf (very badly). The highlight of his football career was trials with Sheffield Wednesday. However, he was not cut out for the Premier League and turned to law! David also likes travel and recently spent a year living and working in Barcelona.
