Elizabeth, better known as Liz, is a solicitor who trained and qualified in Lincoln before moving to Gainsborough in 2001.
Liz very much enjoys working for Burton & Dyson and feels that although we are a very up-to-the-minute and progressive firm, we have not lost touch with the need to treat fellow men and women as human beings. Liz delights in the fact that we provide a very efficient service without a trace of an automated message. Technology is provided for those among us who favour it, but for those who prefer people to machines, Liz thinks we have the best.
Liz's work encompasses the preparation of wills and the administration of estates, an area in which she has over 20 years’ experience. Liz also undertakes Court of Protection work, which includes preparing statutory wills when the person making the will no longer has the mental capacity to do so.
Liz has a keen interest in working with the more mature section of the population to ensure they do not become a forgotten part of the community, and hopes to launch her own "Don't let them turn us beige" campaign.
Liz loves books, films, music, theatre and art. She plays badminton (very badly) and enjoys windsurfing. Liz is a member of Soroptimist International, an organisation constantly striving for improvements both at a community, national and international level.
