Our people

Linda is a solicitor with over 20 years of legal experience.  She obtained an honours degree in Law at Manchester University as a mature student, having previously obtained an honours degree in Geology and taught Geology for several years.

Linda joined Burton & Dyson in 2001, having relocated from the South East where she practised as a partner in a law firm and was Head of the family department. 

Linda specialises in issues involving children, as well as dealing with other types of family work, including divorce and related matters, especially financial settlements. Linda is a member of the Solicitors Regulation Authority Children Panel.

Linda is an avid traveller and enjoys visiting remote areas of the world. She prefers to take binoculars with her these days rather than her hammer; having developed an interest in birds and wildlife in general.
