Peter has worked at Burton & Dyson since 1967. He heads the personal injury department and holds the following personal injury-related accreditations:
- Member of the Solicitors Regulation Authority Personal Injury Accreditation Scheme
- Senior Litigator with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL)
He also holds the following memberships:
- Solicitors Regulation Authority Mental Health Review Tribunal Accreditation Scheme
- Institute of Mental Health Law (IMHL)
Peter has a general background, having experience in various areas of law including disputes, matrimonial, property and land. He has a personal interest in agricultural work by virtue of living in a village environment. Peter's other particular areas of interest are personal injury and mental health law, having been involved in them for many years.
Peter was educated at the Queen Elizabeth Grammar School in Gainsborough and is married with two adult children. A well known local sportsman, he is an ECB-qualified cricket coach who takes a keen interest in junior cricket coaching; he is Vice-President of the Lincoln Junior Cricket League. Peter is also a Director of the Gainsborough Citizens Advice Bureau, and is a local Parish Counseller.
