Sarah graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2005 after completing an honours Law degree. She undertook the Legal Practice Course in 2005-6, also at Sheffield, for which she obtained a Commendation.
Sarah joined Burton & Dyson in 2006 as a trainee, qualifying as a solicitor in April 2009.
Throughout her time at Burton & Dyson, Sarah has worked in a wide variety of legal areas, including property matters, acting for clients in both sales and purchases. She has substantial experience of landlord and tenant issues.
However, Sarah has developed a specialism in mental health law and has wide experience of representing patients before Mental Health Review Tribunals and Hospital Managers Hearings.
Sarah is a member of the West Lindsey Citizens Advice Money Care Partnership, an organisation established to promote initiatives to combat debt problems in the local area.
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys travel (anywhere hot), spending time with her family and friends – and making up wild and wonderful excuses as to why she has neither the time nor inclination to go to the gym.
