Out of Hours Service

At Burton & Dyson, we understand that the demands of modern life mean that it is not always practical for clients to contact us during working hours. Equally, an issue can arise out of hours which may require contact with a solicitor as soon as possible.

With this in mind, we have launched our new ‘out of hours’ telephone service for both current and prospective clients, available on 01427 676226.

When will this ‘out of hours’ telephone service be available?
You will be able to use the above number between the closure of our switchboard and 8pm from Monday to Friday and from 9am to 1pm on Saturdays. Any calls outside of these hours and not within our normal office hours will be directed to our answer-phone service.

Who can use this service?
Our ‘out of hours’ telephone service is for all clients, whether current or prospective.

Who will I be able to speak to?
Anyone contacting our ‘out of hours’ telephone service during the above hours will be able to speak to one of the on-call solicitors for that day.

I’m not yet a client, but want to call you out of hours. How can you help me?
This will depend on your query. Please note that, as a prospective client, we will not yet have your details or been able to establish all the facts and circumstances relating to your enquiry. While we can offer basic advice, we are unable to offer detailed, substantive advice over the telephone until we have had a chance to carry out the appropriate client verification work and gather all the relevant information. We will, however, be pleased to make arrangements for this to be done.

I am unable to visit your office during normal working hours. Can I be seen out of hours?
While we will consider meeting clients outside of normal working hours in appropriate circumstances, please note that this is solely at our discretion and cannot be guaranteed on every occasion.

When is your office open?
We are open from 9am to 5.30pm from Monday to Thursday and 9am to 5pm on Fridays. Our switchboard is open from 8.30am to 6pm from Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 5.30pm on Fridays.
